TMobile — Are you with us?

This campaign was in essence a stepping stone in TMobile’s 5G branding evolution.

There were quite a few interesting challenges during the course of this project, I worked closely with the team to develop creative solutions.

I was brought on to this project as a Motion Graphics designer, but soon found myself in the trenches doing camera tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing work to solve many of these challenges.

I was given a rigged pink line animation to use in after effects, which worked at times, but over the course of the project I had to develop my own solutions to recreate the specific effect for the variety of shots we had to cover.

One of the biggest challenges of this project was to create a feeling of the 5G signal lines reaching anywhere, especially around people, but a need our client had was to not show the lines getting too close to the actual subjects shown in the clips as there was still general anxiety from the public about 5G signals at the time.
